Elsa Boch &
Ferréol Babin

Elsa Boch was born in September 1988 in Mulhouse, France.
 After first graduation in textile design at HEAR, Mulhouse in 2011, she trains at Studio GGSV in Paris. Then she obtains a master in object design at ESAD, Reims in 2013. In 2014 she moves to Italy and joins Nichetto Studio in Venice where she applies both her textile and product design backgrounds and skills. She is now working as a product designer at Maisons du Monde in France.

Ferréol Babin was born in March 1987 in Dijon, France.
After first graduaiton in Space Design in ENSA of Dijon, he moved to Japan, to the Nagoya University of Art & Design. By this time, he realised that architecture and space were not the right scale for him to fully express himself, and decided to focus on objects. He then worked as an intern at Studio Robert Stadler in Paris. In 2012 he graduated from ESAD of Reims, in Object Design. In 2014 he has been selected for a one-year residency to work at Fabrica, the Benetton’s communications research centre, based in Treviso, Italy.

Under the direction of Sam Baron, his projects included industrial design, scenography or conceptual installations.
His projects are always based on an awareness of function and rationality, combined with a poetic and emotional dimension.

Magneto

From afar we can clearly see a very classic design: large stripes with contrasting colors. But the closer you get to the rug, the more the texture is enriched with shades, vibrant colors that enhance the material.
